Senior/Community Relations Executive (yCG)


What You Will Do

The scope of work will generally encompass the following duties:


  • Create awareness and actively promote yCG as the leading educational programme to schools/institutions and youth organisations through effective channels
  • Identify and secure new accounts through various means such as mass marketing campaigns, electronic email blasts, mailers, roadshows, social media, etc.
  • Develop existing accounts. Must be willing to reach out to leaders such as Heads of CCE Department, Principals and at the same time, instil excitement in the students to put their learned values into feasible actions for the elderly and/or the sick
  • Facilitate workshops and value-in-actions (VIA) programmes for students, ranging from Primary 3 to tertiary education
  • Propose new ideas and share thoughts on VIA programmes, guide students and implement feasible ideas.
  • Develop and coordinate service learning projects e.g. design project objectives & deliverables
  • Establish accurate and reliable cross departmental communications in a timely manner
  • Recruit suitable volunteers and train them to be facilitators and/or to perform administrative tasks
  • Engage volunteers through effective communications and activities
  • Co-ordinate and match appropriate facilitators for the outreach sessions in a timely manner
  • Audit facilitator sessions and give feedback
  • Collate, tabulate, scan and input data for outreach
  • Update the database records and prepare reports as and when required

Who You Are

  • Recognised degree in related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Experience in Outreach will be an advantage
  • Passionate about elderly care issues
  • Good command of written and spoken English,
  • Good Microsoft office skills – Excel, Word, Powerpoint
  • Independent, proactive and resourceful
