What You Will Do

Quality and Audit

  • Quality surveillance of system, processes and outcomes in all clinical services towards performance tracking and quality improvement.  This would involve conceptualising and monitoring patient centric outcomes or indicators based on prevailing clinical guidelines e.g. National Strategy of Palliative Care (NSPC).
  • Work with Information Technology (IT) department to create and maintain dashboards reflecting overall performance of clinical staff, based on the outcomes and indicators identified.  Produce updated status reports as and when requested by HCA Senior Management, Ministry of Health or any other stakeholder. 
  • Conduct process audits and execute follow up actions independently.  Train, guide and support clinical staff in performing Quality Improvement (QI) projects.  Provides secretariat support for QI projects and other related meetings, including sending out invites and taking meeting minutes.
  • Draft, collate and maintain a repository of standard operating procedures, policies, and directory for all quality and audit activities.
  • Co-ordinate with Vigil Angel and Esther Project workgroups, supporting clinical staff in planning activities eg set up volunteer training to be a Vigil Angel; co-ordinate visits by clinical staff and Vigil Angels to a patient’s home; work with clinical staff on fulfilling patient wishes etc. 
  • Co-operate with and assist other staff in the organisation as the need arises.

  • Perform other duties as required by reporting officers and the organisation outside that specified within this job description.

Who You Are


  • Degree or equivalent
  • Min. 2 years’ related experience (preferably in healthcare or social care)
  • Able to meet tight deadlines for work
  • Comfortable and meticulous with numbers
  • Good communication, strong project management and writing skills
  • Good Microsoft Office skills – Word, Excel, Powerpoint


Remuneration will commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications and experience.
