Clinical Psychologist (Contract)

What You Will Do

The incumbent will be part of the multi-disciplinary team who will assess mental, emotional, and behavioural issues, as well as provide counselling, psychotherapy, and psycho-education for patients and caregivers. The scope of work will generally encompass the following duties:

 

  • Conducts clinical assessment to measure patients’ mental, emotional and behavioural issues for patients and caregivers.
  • Provides counselling, psychotherapy and psycho-education for patients and caregivers.
  • Sources, evaluates and implements relevant approaches and interventions in psychosocial oncology e.g logotherapy.
  • Develops and conducts psychoeducational training for internal staff.
  • Initiates research to identify gaps, guide practice and improve quality of care in collaboration with our in-house research team.
  • Works in collaboration with clinical teams to determine and deliver the best care for patients.


Who You Are

  • Master in Psychology (Clinical) from an accredited institution
  • Registered with Singapore Register of Psychologists
  • Preferably 2 years of relevant experience
  • Mature, with good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good multi-tasking and time management skills

Remuneration will be commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications and experience.
